Beweld contributes to the construction of the largest offshore wind farm in the USA

We are proud to announce our participation in one of the most ambitious renewable energy projects of our time: the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Farm – the largest offshore wind farm in the United States.

Our team will be directly involved in the construction of the electrical substation, in partnership with TECADE, and in the production of monopile foundations, in collaboration with CSWIND.

Located off the coast of the state of Virginia, the wind farm will comprise 176 Siemens Gamesa wind turbines, each with a capacity of 14 megawatts (MW), distributed across three offshore substations and connected to a new onshore transmission grid.

With a strong installed capacity, the project will be able to power around 660,000 homes, harnessing Atlantic winds to generate clean, renewable energy.
